Chad Gruber
Chad was born in New Jersey and attended high school in New York, Vermont and Idaho. He attended the University of New Mexico, graduating cum laude in 2005 with degrees in Economics and Spanish.
Chad then attended the UNM School of Law, where he was the president of the Business Law Society and the treasurer of the Jewish Law Students’ Association. During law school, Chad spent a summer studying at the East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai. He received his Juris Doctor in 2007.
Following law school, Chad served as Assistant Public Defender, where he first-chaired approximately 20 jury trials and helped to implement a new electronic discovery system at the Public Defender’s office. Since embarking on private practice in 2012, Chad’s practice has expanded to real estate law and general civil litigation, with specializations in tenant defense, foreclosure defense, real estate contracts, and commercial litigation.
Chad has traveled extensively. He lived and worked in Mexico for a year and is fluent in Spanish.
