Chad Gruber

Chad was born in New Jersey and attended high school in New York, Vermont and Idaho.  He attended the University of New Mexico, graduating cum laude in 2005 with degrees in Economics and Spanish.

Chad then attended the UNM School of Law, where he was the president of the Business Law Society and the treasurer of the Jewish Law Students’ Association.  During law school, Chad spent a summer studying at the East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai. He received his Juris Doctor in 2007.

Following law school, Chad worked as an assistant Public Defender for three and half years.  He first chaired approximately 20 jury trials, and helped to implement a new electronic discovery system at the PD.

Chad has travelled extensively.  He lived and worked in Mexico for a year and is fluent in Spanish.  Chad has also traveled to China twice and is conversational in Mandarin Chinese.
